29.11.2023

The team at the Ecological Restoration Fund is growing, and we’re very happy to introduce Dr Emma McIntosh who is joining our Advisory Committee. As a conservation scientist, she provides expertise in marine conservation and restoration. She also brings a wealth of experience in grant-making, monitoring and evaluation, and organisational development.

Emma is also a Consultant to Environmental Programmes at Arcadia and is on the board of the funder collaborative Oceans 5. She advises environmental funders and non-profit organisations and has worked with the David and Lucile Packard Foundation; the Great British Oceans coalition; Gladstone Healthy Harbour Partnership in the Great Barrier Reef; and the Wentworth Group of Concerned Scientists on environmental policy in Australia.

We are also pleased to welcome Olivia Eckersley, who will oversee our communications, with a focus on updates on our grantee partners and their work. Olivia is also the Communications Officer at our sister organisation, the Sigrid Rausing Trust, where she has been since 2022.

Olivia has a background in journalism, spending six years as an Assistant News Editor at Channel 4 News, after working at the BBC, CNBC and ITV News. Following journalism, she also worked in corporate PR and communications at Edelman.
